About ME

If you want the juicy details, visit the "Fun Facts" link located above! But for everything else, stay tuned...

My real name is Megan, but I write under Meg because, well, I can. When I was in high school, I received a scholarship from the American Cancer Society on an article I wrote on my struggle with brain cancer as a young teen, and from that point, I knew writing was my passion; I just didn't know it was my career. I studied at Ohio University Eastern before starting a family, but the crazy thing is: I never dreamed of pursuing writing as a career! I just loved books, the classics, more specifically (think Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Edgar Allen Poe, William Shakespeare). Eventually, I went back to school and studied various things including biblical studies, non-profit and human services, and business administration, but nothing fit! Until the day I started writing my first novel, that's when it clicked and I knew from that point on that writing is what I was meant to do.

I've written a total of four novels (which you will all get to experience eventually!), but I'm currently in the process of writing eight, including a middle-grade fantasy novel.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have four beautiful children. We currently reside in the middle of nowhere Ohio with our two cats, Cupcake and Sprinkles (We also have 6 chickens too!), and I spend all my days writing. I don't work another job because I'm a spoiled writer and I get to live my whole life drifting away into a fantasy world!

When I'm not writing, I'm usually taking long walks and drinking almond milk lattes or listening to the piano guys. I also like playing the piano in my spare time (when I get any! I have four kids!). I mostly just spend my time writing. The secret to being a great writer is making your vocation your vacation. That's what I've done. I love writing.

You can purchase my books on Amazon or sample some here on my website!

Happy Reading!
